Concerts, Classes, & Community in Chicago

Ayodele Drum and Dance Northside Southside Oneside.jpg

Chicago Human Rhythm Project (CHRP) presents rhythm-culture in performances, education programs and community development initiatives that foster great art, social reconciliation and economic justice.

CHRP centers artists, companies and communities deeply connected to the practice of ancient foot, hand and vocal rhythmic traditions as they continue to evolve as living, relevant contemporary art forms.

CHRP centers and platforms American Tap, African, Native American, Indian, Mexican Folkloric, Irish Step and other culturally specific, rhythm-centric art forms.

CHRP brings together people who do not live next door to each other to build and celebrate the common ground.

Your generous donation will help us enrich the lives of Chicagoans of all ages. Please consider a contribution today so we can continue making our joyous noise!

Chicago Human Rhythm Project provides audiences, students and communities with extraordinary concerts, classes and community building experiences! Sign up for our monthly newsletter and don't miss a beat!

CHRP is getting noticed. Enjoy reading and seeing how we’re being received in the community.
