Driving Directions

Lake Shore Drive Southbound

Take Lake Shore Drive south towards Grant Park. Turn right at Jackson Blvd. Make a left on Michigan Avenue and the ARC is on the right side of Michigan just south of Van Buren Street in the Fine Arts Building.

Lake Shore Drive Northbound

Heading north on Lake Shore Drive, take the Columbus Drive exit toward I-290, then continue onto S Columbus Drive. Make a left on to E Congress Parkway and then turn right onto E Congress Plaza Drive. Next make a slight left onto E Van Buren St, followed by turning left onto Michigan Ave. The ARC will be located ahead on the right.

Directions from the North Suburbs via I-94 South

Take the Edens Expressway (I-94) to the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94) south to the Congress Parkway exit. Take Congress Parkway east to the corner of Congress Parkway and Dearborn Street and make a left on Dearborn. Turn right on Jackson Blvd. and another right on Michigan Ave. where ARC will be on the right.

Directions from the Northwest Suburbs via I-90 South

Take the I-90 south to the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94). Continue on the Kennedy to the Congress Parkway exit. Take Congress Parkway east to the corner of Congress Parkway and Dearborn Street and make a left on Dearborn. Turn right on Jackson Blvd. and another right on Michigan Ave. where ARC will be on the right.

Directions from the South Suburbs via I-90/94 North

Take the Dan Ryan Expressway, I-90/94 north to the Lake Shore Drive exit (I-55 east). Take the Lake Shore Drive North exit and follow Lake Shore Drive north until taking the Columbus Drive exit toward I-290. Continue onto S Columbus Drive. Make a left on to E Congress Parkway and then turn right onto E Congress Plaza Drive. Directions from the Southwest Suburbs via I-55

Take the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) east and continue on to Lake Shore Drive. Take the Lake Shore Drive North exit and follow Lake Shore Drive north until taking the Columbus Drive exit toward I-290. Continue onto S Columbus Drive. Make a left on to E Congress Parkway and then turn right onto E Congress Plaza Drive. Next make a slight left onto E Van Buren St, followed by turning left onto Michigan Ave. The ARC will be located ahead on the right.

Directions from the West Suburbs via I-290 East

Take the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) east. The Eisenhower Expressway becomes Congress Parkway when you enter the city. Continue on Congress Parkway east to the corner of Congress Parkway and Dearborn Street and make a left on Dearborn. Turn right on Jackson Blvd. and another right on Michigan Ave. where ARC will be on the right.
CTA

CTA Red Line (95th – Howard)

Go to the Jackson stop (Jackson & State). Exit onto Jackson/State, walk two blocks east to Michigan. Go south on Michigan, crossing Van Buren, to the Fine Arts Building.

CTA Brown/Pink/Green/Orange/Purple Line (to the Loop)

Go to the Adams stop (Adams & Wabash). Walk east on Adams to Michigan. Go south on Michigan, crossing Van Buren, to the Fine Arts Building. (Or to Library (State and Van Buren); walk east to Michigan and walk south on Michigan about 200 ft.

CTA BLUE LINE (O’Hare – Forest Park)

Go to the LaSalle stop (LaSalle & Congress). Walk east on Congress and turn to walk north on Michigan. The Fine Arts Building will be on the left.
Metra

Union Station

Walk to the Southeast corner of Monroe and Canal. Take the J14 bus towards 103rd/Stony Island. Get off at Michigan and Van Buren/Congress. The ARC will be across the street.

LaSalle Street Station

Walk east on Congress Parkway .5 miles until you reach Michigan Ave. Go north (left) on Michigan and the ARC will be halfway up the block on your left.

Ogilvie Transportation Center

Walk to the Northwest corner of Clinto and Madison. Take the J14 bus towards 103rd/Stony Island. Get off at Michigan and Van Buren/Congress. The ARC will be across the street.

Van Buren Street Station

Exit to Michigan Avenue and the ARC will be on the west side of the street.
